Harit Bharat: Tree Plantation Drive to Kick Off in July

In line with its strong environmental objectives, Jai Maa Jhandewali Jan Sewa Samiti is launching a large-scale tree plantation drive — Harit Bharat — in July 2026 in the parks and open spaces of Subhash Nagar, New Delhi. The campaign aims to plant 10,000 trees over the next two years, combat urban pollution, and promote ecological balance. Saplings will be distributed free of cost to participating residents, schools, and community organizations. The Samiti will also conduct awareness seminars on global warming, soil erosion, rainwater harvesting, and solar energy adoption as part of its broader environment protection mandate. Residents, schools, and local businesses are invited to participate and volunteer.
